Geneva, Switzerland (28 July 2016) – The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) lauded the valuable insights shared by ADEC Innovations CEO and Global CEO Alliance (GCEOA) Chairman James Donovan during their 14th annual session, UNCTAD 14.

“We were delighted that you were able to speak and we think you made excellent contributions to the discussion. These points are also useful for a joint discussion paper we are preparing with UN-Habitat to be distributed at the upcoming Habitat III conference,” UNCTAD’s Economic Affairs Office letter read.

Donovan’s talking-points at the WIF, particularly on the need for inspired leadership in business as well as a positive environment for partnerships and continuous, incremental innovation in the roadmap to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the 2030 Global Agenda.

UNCTAD’s World Investment Forum 2016 (WIF) is a high-level, multi-stakeholder gathering for dialogue and action on the world’s key emerging investment-related challenges. The conference brought together world leaders and prominent players from the business world, civil society and academia to discuss issues on global trade and economic development from July 17 to 22, 2016, in Nairobi, Kenya.

Habitat III is the Third United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, one of the first high-level, multi-stakeholder global conferences discussing and charting new pathways after the Post 2015 Development Agenda. The conference addresses the challenges of urbanization and the opportunities it opens up in relation to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
