UN Partnerships

The Foundation and its  chairman, Mr. James Donovan, have established active partnerships with various United Nations agencies on initiatives that support the Sustainable Development Goals.  These agencies and programs include the following:

Global Environment Outlook, 6th edition (GEO-6) Photo

GEO-6 is the 6th edition of the UNEP flagship Global Environment Outlook assessment. It is an integrated environmental assessment that will help inform the development of evidence-based environmental policy and decision making. Mr. James Donovan serves as the team lead for the GEO-6 Data Fabric Task Force whose main objective is to provide guidance on assessment methodologies and lead the overall quality assurance of data and information flows.

ADEC Foundation is part of the United Nations Environment Programme’s Major Groups and Stakeholders Group. The group fosters multi-stakeholder dialogue among the heads of inter-governmental, non-government, and private sector organizations towards working on the environmental dimension of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

ADEC Foundation Chairman Mr. James Donovan is currently a member of the UNECE Public-Private Partnership Business Advisory Board (BAB), advising the International Centres of Excellence and their member states on the elaboration and implementation of international best practices and standards.
